Are you stuck in a rut?

Sometimes we can all fall victim to losing motivation. We get tired of doing the same training routines, or we find ourselves not making as much progress as we’d like to. Take a look at my top tips to beat these blues and stay on track with your goals.

1. Schedule time to yourself

We often forget that to succeed, we must plan. We won’t maximise our efficiency and achieve what we want without outlining the steps that it will take to get us there. I have a simple tip that you can step implementing to combat this. Once a week, perhaps a Sunday, sit down and plan your week. Start by planning your food. What meals are you going to have? Keep it nice and simple, don’t stress yourself out trying to create some Masterchef lunch! This will benefit you in many ways. From having a consistent eating schedule, to saving money, and preventing yourself from binge eating when you don’t have a prepared lunch.

2. Set yourself up for success

Again, planning is key here! While it can be nice to have a day off to relax, we need to plan our week ahead so that we make ourself accountable. Planning what days you’re going to work out, or what muscle groups you intend to train can be another way to motivate and encourage yourself to keep on track and training.

3. You are NOT ALONE

While we all have different goals, don’t forget that you are not alone in your journey. If you feel like you are not getting the results you deserve, remember that we have highly experienced Personal Trainers. Each of who specialise in different areas, and can help you overcome what ever your obstacle may be. They can help you set up your weekly, even monthly, structured plan to help keep on top of your schedule. This will help you track your results and add variety and change to your training regimes.
