We LOVE training with friends! Not only does training with a friend mean you work hard and have more motivation to keep grinding through your workout, it gives you an awesome chance to be social and catch up with your training buddy!
We had to share this workout with you because not only is a serious calorie burner (you’ll burn up to 500 calories if you work at maximum capacity) but it’s also super-fast to complete and is a great total body workout.
Give it a go with your training partner and tell us how many rounds you completed at the end!
Here’s how it works:
- Partner A starts the circuit whilst Partner B runs 400m on the treadmill or rows 500m on the rower
- When Partner B finishes the run, they tag Partner A and pick up the circuit where Partner A left off.
- Try to complete as many rounds as you can between each other in 20 minutes. How many rounds can you do?
Here’s the circuit:
- 10 Burpees
- 10 Pushups
- 10 Squats/ Squat Jumps
- 15 Ball Slams (with a 10kg weight)
- 15 crunches/ sit-ups
